Christmas is coming I like to have an advent calendar for the children , as the mas is away on covert fishing operations!!!! I can not get into the loft to get the beautifully hand mad fabric one down, Never mind we can have a nice Jesus one from the shops this year instead.....

We trawled the town we could have Bratts looking like super sluts Vicky Pollard ( was she standing in for the Virgin Mary!) Winnie the Pooh and Micky bloody Mouse! WE eventually found a Jesus one, You know the main character of the the day in OXFAM
That's Christmas over and done with now its time to start shopping for next year,
December seems to have rushed by in a blur of tinsel and chocolate we have attended so many church things I have been brave enough to contact the Bishop regarding one of the team of vicars social inadequacies...... I am being hugged in public by another in front of my husband too!
The children have sung, played, and read in Church, school and cathedral, I have not once been asked to bake mince pies, not since some old bag won my beautiful gingerbread house was told it was a cake and threw it in the bin because she thought it was made of hard board not prize winning construction ginger biscuit and has spread wicked tales of my baking skills around this town HUMPH.
My blond sister in law has yet again re-gifted gifts we have given her children back to ours who are older than hers, but the best is the spinning top with digital read out she has given my son who will be 13 at the end of January, it sits untouched on a window sill still in its packet!!!!!!
we have been brought up with the notion of it's the thought that counts and that is why this year the packet of Jam pot covers and labels are high on my list, of a lot of thought went into that thank you goes to my mother in law and effort to get them all on her own,
Fav pressie is a V&B fig candle that is making my house smell divine and I can no longer smell the damp mop that was allegedly a black cocker spaniel that visited Boxing day.

My brother, British Army Officer rather like Captain Peacock, is currently serving in Germany,
He took his golden retriever out for a walk along by the convent, and played the throw the stick game. The dog returned with a "Strap-on" firmly between his teeth, hahahaha and refused to YELD as a group of Elderly German Grannys bustled by! HAHAAHAHAAAAAA HAAA
